WHAT MAKES ICR STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD?

We use a simple, yet innovative roasting process which locks in the flavours of the coffee
and allows it to be consumed straight after roasting!

Our goal is to bring coffee beans from all around the globe to the main stream market making it accessible for all to enjoy. Single origin coffee beans contain a lot of interesting attributes that can be masked in blended/commercial roasts. This ‘masking’ is done in order to achieve reliability for a product which is important for market consistency. However, what this does is remove a lot of the individual qualities that develop over the lifecycle of the coffee plant. As the coffee cherry is a fruit, each harvest is different depending on the season, environmental factors and when the cherry was picked.

Each mouthful of coffee contains over 720 different flavour characteristics. Compare this to wine for example, which has around 250 flavour characteristics. Overall, this means that each harvest of coffee is different and as a result there are many different subtleties in the coffee that can be enjoyed. Our aim is to allow our customers to enjoy coffee as it was meant to be - straight from the source and roasted in a simple manner so that the complexities of each bean can be fully enjoyed and appreciated.
